Overall Rating       Good kit, but with some problems.
Comments A nice kit, but under magnification, there's more flash than first glance, and you want to be careful and have a good 3-view drawing handy particularly on cleaning up the detail at the back of the saucer between the booms. But that doesn't require great skill. engraved panel detail is way big for this scale but can serve as a nice guide for painting panels if you like or you can just fill and sand. The profile of the trailing edge of the right nacelle pylon was a bit askew and there was a small void near the nacelle attach point - at this scale not too noticeable. Mating points between the nacelles and pylons is a bit vague but not too difficult with a 3-view drawing to guide you. Might be worth cutting off the pylons outboard of the booms and replacing with sheet stock. Decals include some nice-to-have details that you wouldn't expect at this scale and look good at any normal unmagnified viewing distance. Placement/painting instructions are well done. Shape and outline look good, though the warp nacelles seem a little chubby. Again, a problem lessened with little effort with sandpaper. Overall, It's not as clean as some of the small scale ships and shuttles offered by folks like Federation Models. But it's a nice addition to other starships in this scale and at a decent price.
