Well worth getting.

| Comments | If the XB-70 produces in you the same gut wrenching, visceral reaction just knowing such a beautiful ever flew as it does me, you need this book. It makes an epic of bomber development in the late 50's and early 60's, complete with coverage not only on the development of The Great White Bird, but all her competitors, nuclear bombers, parasite fighters.... just a wonderful work that's long overdue. After having seen the last remaining Valkyrie at Wright Patterson AFB a number of years ago, I knew I'd want a book like this. And here it is. Worth twice the price! |
