The Pegasus or Beast made its debut in season two of Nu Galactica. I liked the design and hoped that a kit would be released. Fantastic Plastic did and although I liked the design I waited before buying the kit. Overall the kit is not bad. Assembly was straight forward, however the ends to the landing bays were WAY oversized. I had to do a lot of trimming to get them to fit. I also think that the flak cannons are a bit out of scale. That’s a minor issue.

The model was painted with Testors Neutral Gray. The darker panels were painted with Gunship Gray and the cannon barrels were painted Gunmetal. Finally the engine exhausts were painted Arctic Blue Metallic. The model washed with an oil wash and flattened up.
