This is a very rugged ship design, derived from the ubiquitous 'Celestra' class ships. The Arsele Ithekos does a variety of specialized repair and maintenance work for ships, shipyards, and other space facilities. This is a civilian ship that is fairly used to getting contracts from Colonial Fleet and large corporations. When the Cylon attack occurred, the Arsele Ithekos was en route to Ragnar Station for a scheduled maintenance checkup of all of Ragnar's rotational bearing assemblies. The crew of this ship was delighted when Col. Tigh decided to skip the inspection, and not so delighted when they found out about the Cylon attack.

Build Notes

The ship is a total bash of resin parts; some from a greeblie acquisition at Wonderfest, and some from old Ebay 'parts boxes' of mine that happened to fall into some RTV. The forward tube structure is a cast of an engine from an Aurora XB-70 Valkyrie, and all the rest of the ship and the detail parts are of questionable parentage. The paint is Tamiya XF-64 Metallic Gray.
