Built to the scale of the Monogram Battlestar, this ship is my version of a ragtag ship from the original series. The studio model had a Bell helicopter part on its bottom bow. I'm not sure of the the original ship's purpose, so mine is a generic utility ship.The main reference picture is in a collected book of the "best of" Sci-Fi and Fantasy Modelling magazine's first run. I mimicked the overall shape of the studio model, with my own unique additions and modifications. Perhaps a different model year of the studio ship. There was alot of evolution of the details as I went along, keeping the industrial grungy look of the ragtag fleet in mind as I built and painted.

The main hull is from a 1/72 jet. The "boxes" on the sides are from some armor model in my parts bin. And of course, there's the Bell helicopter part on the bow.
