I started with a 1/6th scale talking figure. My first step was to unscrew the jet pack from the back of the figure and remove all the internal wiring, battery pack and speaker box. I then filled in the back of the figure using Milliput, then primed the figure using a matte grey primer.
When that was dry, I used acrylic citadel paints to paint it in the style of Boba Fett from the old animated Holiday Special TV film. After the base colours were dry, I weathered the entire figure with dry brushing and washes. I then painted the jet pack chrome and proceeded to weather it to match the body. The jet pack is removable and fixes to the figure via a concealed magnet.
Lastly, I touched up the paintwork on the face to make it more realistic and added some blood effects.
