For fun, I played around with a script that picked up the Space: 1999 story 200 years later. The main character was John Koenig III. As a youth, he entertained himself by modifying one of the original Eagles with parts and technology acquired over the years as the moon encountered alien civilizations like the Federation of Planets, Galactic Empire, etc. Iggy is his hand built hot rod labor of love.

This is an AMT Eagle with lots of bits added. Most are recognizable:

• Main guns are from a Revell Starfury with some speaker wire power cables.
• The main pod is nacelle struts from an AMT Runabout. Each side has the endcap of a Klingon D7 engine added.
• The blue pieces that connect the pod to the upper spine the neck and secondary hall from the Enterprise included with the AMT Space Ship Set
• The main engines feature a few Starfury parts and some Duct Tape decoration.
• The secondary engines are large scale X-wing blasters combined with smaller scale X-wing engines
• The thruster upgrades on the landing pods are painted doll eyes. You can buy a bag of different sized eyes at any craft store and they have many uses.
