Comments I give it 5 stars, but I'm biased. I mastered a goodly portion of it (Joe Brown did the upper fuselage and upper details that everyone has great things to say about).

This was actually one of three designs that were intended for a large group project for Wonderfest 2002 - and the only one to actually get built before the show. We were working on a fairly tight deadline, which led to the use of some kit parts (landing gear and bomb bay especially).

I altered the lower half of the fuselage from the way the ship is portrayed in the Battletech tech manual. There, it has no intake - just a hump that starts about half way back, under the wing, and houses SRM launchers. There was no possible way landing gear would fit in that design, and we'd determined that we wanted gear of some sort. So, I moved the launcher forward and doubled it as an intake (a force field prevents flame-outs - yeah, that's the ticket). This gave space for full landing gear .... and a large, empty space in the middle that could now house a weapons bay.

For ordnance, we wanted something that didn't look like it came out of a current jet model, so we improvised. Two different styles of bombs and missiles have been included in the kits, and I don't know which ones Alfred got. However, they all look fine to me .... to each his own, I guess.

I really, really like the sensors and such Alfred added to the ship - I'll have to do that with my own model.
