Comments The Prometheus is a nice design and a detailed model for sure, but there may be a lot of work to do before it becomes what you want to have. There may be some problems with the lineup of the 4 nacelles like on my kit - one of the upper nacelles hangs down so much that it touches the lower nacelle of that side alrteady. The problems with those tiny and thin blades on each side of the upper triangular saucer I had too. Several of them where broken already when my model arrived and those which are left don't look very stable. The greatest problem I found on this kit is the also already mentioned gap between the Beta- and the Gamma Ship - you will have some trouble with this. For real, to make the ship splitable like in the episode "Message in a bottle" is a great idea, but I don't think it's the best idea for a resin kit. Puttying this gap will take some time and you'll have to do some tricky work in doing this. I will surely glue and putty those parts on my kit, otherwise it will look stupid when you look from a side. The model has great detail, that's for sure. If it wasn't a split-kit, the problems you would have were minor but in this case I wouldn't recommend it to modelers who've never worked with resin so far.
